Senville finally called me bacik.

Updated by user Jul 26, 2018

Shortly after leaving this review I was called by Mike at Senville. Detected an accent, could be a Canadian thing :).

Anyway, he advised setting the unit on 62F for ~ 10 minutes and feeling the fatter copper pipe from the outside unit. If not cold, then it's either a pressure or a freon loss situation. Well, sure enough, it was warm to the touch. By chance my 5 TON Trane went out too and I called the A/C outfit that serviced my Trane back in April (routine check).

Turns out it was the thermostat on that 8-year old behemoth. While he was out I asked him to check out the Senville. He accurately diagnosed the freon leak caused [I believe], incidentally, by a very gentle nudge from my landscaper's lawnmower. Since that happened, I've purchased two sturdy steel stakes at Home Depot to protect anything else from running into my Senville compressor.

So all's well and nice that Senville finally returned my calls. Thanks, PissedOff!

Called Senville Support three times. No one ever actually answers, and no one has called me back.

Everything about this unit, inside and out, looks fine and worked great for about the first week. Had a professional HVAC tech finish the installation, he could detect no freon leak at that time. It's a busy time in Phoenix for AC guys, and not everyone is trained or experienced on mini-splits. I've read the reviews on overcharging and blowing these units out, and I don't want that.

All I'm asking Senville to do is to help me troubleshoot the unit. I've read all the troubleshooting tips and can't figure it. My wife is seriously upset that the master bedroom is hot again, our 5 Ton TRANE can't keep up with that side of the house.

I'll update this if Senville calls me and attempts to help. But for now, I'm SERIOUSLY disappointed in their lack of response.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $1100.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Senville Pros: Features of units, Efficiency, Cost efficient.

Senville Cons: Lack of service contractors, Lack of responce to repair problem.
